Retention of Title

Goods will remain the property of Powerpoint Stores Ltd until payment is made in full.

We do not accept cheques.

All goods requiring attention under guarantee are to be dealt with by the manufacturer in accordance with their warranty terms. Your statutory rights are not affected.


Every attempt will be made to ensure your delivery arrives to yourselves at the stated time/ date. An additional charge may be incurred if prior notice has not been given that no one will be present to receive the products ordered. (Please contact the shop 24hours prior to delivery if any changes need to be made to the said delivery time / date)

On delivery, please check that the product delivered has no superficial damage, as this cannot be rectified after it has been accepted.


We will leave the packaging in a neat pile outside your property for you to recycle. If you wish for it to be taken away, there is a small fee. Please advise the store or delivery team.


Please help us to help you and minimise as far as possible the risk of accidental damage whilst on your property. Please make a good path from the doorway to site of product placement. Please clear ornaments, loose carpet etc to a safe place. Health and safety regulations require our teams to wear protective steel capped shoes at all times. We would advise you to lay down protective dust sheets or similar to protect any floor covering likely to be crossed.

Flats/ Maisonettes*

In order to offer very competitive prices, our delivery engineer will normally be operating on his/ her own. Therefore, if a flight of stairs or any lifting of heavy products is required, please inform the sales staff as early as possible to ensure adequate help is available for the delivery staff at your specified delivery time/ date. An additional charge will apply


A connection service is available for selected products at an additional charge. However, this may be refused on inspection of the terminals available within your premises by the engineer. A full refund of the connection charge will be made if the engineer deems any irregularities. Any subsequent problem or leak with the connection must be reported by you within 7 days. After 7 days no responsibility for the connection is accepted by Powerpoint Stores Ltd.

Old Appliances*

Old appliances can be removed and disposed of from your premises if they are:

  1. Disconnected
  2. Accessible for the engineer to remove (at engineers' discretion)
  3. Available for removal at the time of delivery of the new product.

A charge will be made for the collection, transportation, storage and onward shipment to a recycling centre for Refrigeration products and Televisions. These are now considered hazardous waste and have to be disposed of at an appointed recycling centre. Alternatively, your local authority may also arrange for collection and disposal.

Please Note: We will remove and dispose of old appliances for a small charge. Otherwise, we will place it with your other items ready for your regular refuse collection from the local authority.
